This blog post is almost 2 months in the making. There is no other word to describe these pictures than “special”.
From the day we met this couple last January, I knew we would be a great fit for their wedding. Even though it only took three days for them to say that “yes” they for sure wanted to use us for their wedding… it seemed like a VERY LONG three days!
We met them again in April at UW to do their engagement photos which confirmed even more that it was a match that was just meant to be. Not only Amy & Milan, but also us as their photographers. A lot happened between their engagement session and their wedding in July to keep us busy: We had our 4th child (Israel), Kevin graduated from ReTrain, our oldest (Hope) finished first grade, and we had a handful of weddings.
Time flew by and then they day was finally here! It was beautiful and everything went AMAZING. We feel emotionally attached to the pictures from the weddings we shoot since we spend so much time pouring over them, editing them, culling them, talking about them with each other, making them look just right, etc. … It is our hope that some of that emotion comes across when you look at them as well.
