The Burke Family - Portland Family Portraits

Since most of our family lives in the Seattle area, we could not be more thrilled to have some family living close to us here Portland! While Kevin’s cousin Jason completes grad school at Oregon State, him and his beautiful wife Sara, son Emmett, and soon to be here baby sister are living in Corvallis! With Jason in the Navy, this beautiful young family has already moved and lived in more places together than we have! Knowing this will likely be the trend for years to come, we were honored to capture this special time in their lives soaking up the last few moments as a family of three.

When it came time for us to plan for their Portland area family portraits, they knew they wanted them captured right in downtown Corvallis since that is where life has them right now. And I absolutely love that.

We got together on a winter February day. When I think of February in Portland, I think of dark, wet, and cold…arguably, the most miserable time of the year. However, the heavens smiled upon us that day. Not only was the day dry, we even got a few sunbreaks. Emmett is as adorable and sweet as they come. He’s such a ham AND a lover of hugs. Obviously, we are on pins and needles to meet his little sister. We hope you enjoy seeing a few of the portraits from their session, they sure put a smile on our face!
